Lions Park

A major renovation to the existing three ball fields along with the field amenities is the core of this project at Lions Park.  The Cary Park District wanted to bring the fields up to date while improving playability.  Upland Design led the team of consultants to create new plans, gather community input and move the project from idea to a completely built facility.

Key improvements include removal and replacement of the infield mix, new drainage, renovation and expansion of the restroom and concession building, all new paving at the ball field plaza, a new shade shelter, new dugouts, netting along the baselines of all three fields, new backstop fencing and landscape improvements. These sports complex updates invite the community to go outside and play!
